It has been an eventful 2017 NFL season for the Buffalo Bills. They are finally coming off their first win in three weeks with their victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Amidst all of their struggles on offense, they also suffered a key casualty prior to Week 12 after newly-acquired wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin left the game versus the Los Angeles Chargers early. Although his initial diagnosis was still unclear during the team's trip to play the Kansas City, the Bills' Chris Brown has since confirmed that Benjamin has a torn meniscus.

The Bills did not bring WR Kelvin Benjamin on their road trip to Kansas City this past weekend. His knee injury suffered the week prior in Los Angeles kept him out of practice all last week, and ultimately Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.

Despite the seemingly serious designation, head coach Sean Mcdermott added that Benjamin is still day-to-day. However, injuries such as a torn meniscus usually take a few weeks heal before any serious intention to return.

Amidst dealing away nearly all of their key players, the Bills made the blockbuster trade for Benjamin midway through the 2017 NFL season. In the two games since his arrival, he has recorded four receptions for 62 yards, albeit with backup quarterback Nathan Peterman starting in one of them.
