The Buffalo Bills are not resting on their laurels even as they enter the playoffs with a 13-3 record and their first AFC East title since 1995.

The Bills signed wide receiver Kenny Stills to their practice squad on Monday, per the team, which could potentially improve their already talented wide receiving corps in time for their postseason run.

Stills, who was drafted in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints and also played for the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans, was earlier reported to be visiting the Bills.

The veteran wideout mutually parted ways with the Texans back in November in an attempt to give the 28-year-old a chance to play for a contender. In 10 games with Houston, the former Oklahoma Sooner had 11 catches for 144 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Stills was part of the trade between the Texans and Miami Dolphins that sent offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil to Houston, and he finished with 40 catches for 561 receiving yards and four touchdowns in his first season with the Texans while also playing in the postseason.

Stills is expected to practice with the Bills this week, although it’s unclear if he will have enough time to get acclimated to head coach Sean McDermott’s system in time for the Bills’ Wild Card Round game against the Indianapolis Colts.

With the addition of Stills, quarterback Josh Allen could have Pro Bowler Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, Cole Beasley, Isaiah McKenzie, Andre Roberts, Josh Brown, and potentially Stills as his receivers when the Bills play in the postseason. Allen just wrapped up an MVP-type campaign, so giving him another weapon is exciting for Buffalo.
