Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is entering his second offseason with the team and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll thinks that will be key in taking a step forward. Daboll knows in Allen's first season he had to learn all the formations, calls, and even where things are around the building.

Just being more comfortable with things around the team can be key because Allen can just come out and focus on playing football.

“He knows the formation now, he knows what the motion is called, he knows the bare minimums, the cadences. He knows where everything is around the building. He knows where things are outside of the building. A lot of the things that were first times for him, they’re not anymore,” Daboll said to Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic.

“So when you get back and you start, you’re able to go through additions, subtractions, new words. It’s not the first time he’s heard that. Hopefully, from Year 1 to Year 2 I would say is a big difference, just with all of the other things that go along and the ability to jump right into it.”

Last season Allen completed 52.8 percent of his throws for 2,074 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. The Bills also have better wideouts across the board and that should help Allen have more trust with the guys out wide.

The Bills signed former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley to a four year – $29 million contract. Hopefully, Beasley and Allen can get on the same page quickly and that should really improve the offense.
