Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs took to Instagram after absorbing a tough loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game last Sunday. The 2020 Pro Bowler stayed behind on the field after the game to watch the celebration of the Chiefs, which will hopefully serve as motivation for him to do better next season.

Here's Diggs' message after the loss:

Diggs finished the AFC Championship Game with 77 yards on six catches. While Josh Allen threw for 287 yards and two touchdowns, a lot of his production came in garbage time when the outcome of the game was already decided. Allen was also sacked four times as Kansas City made life tough on the quarterback.

The Chiefs used a 21-point scoring outburst in the second quarter of the game to build a comfortable lead over their counterparts. They continued to execute until the final frame to notch a 38-24 victory.

Despite the tough loss in the AFC Championship Game, the Bills still have to be happy with how this season played out. Buffalo won the AFC East with a 13-3 record and won two playoff games before running into a juggernaut Chiefs squad.

Throughout this time, Allen blossomed into one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, with Diggs leading the league in receiving. With a year of postseason experience under their belt, Bills head coach Sean McDermott and his squad will look to reach greater heights moving forward.
