During quarterback Tyrod Taylor's tenure with the Buffalo Bills, he experienced plenty of ups and downs along the way. All of this came to a head this past season as he lost his starting job before earning it back to help the franchise get their first playoff appearance in well over a decade.

Despite that, the Bills moved on from Taylor this offseason in a trade to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a pair of mid-round draft picks. According to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, the 28-year-old voiced that he believes he did more than his part to remain in Buffalo through at least the 2018 campaign.

“Whether I was or whether I wasn't, I'm not there anymore. That's his decision moving forward,” he said. “I still feel that I'd done more than enough to stay where I was. But at the end of the day, they made a decision to move forward. And that's their decision.”

Although the Bills made the playoffs only once in his three-year run with the team, he did bring much stability under center for the franchise. He is a legitimate dual-threat quarterback that can have a big impact on the game with both his arm and legs that largely helped Buffalo garner one of the league's best running games that also featured Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy.

Taylor finished the 2017 season with respectable numbers posting 2,799 passing yards on a 62.6 percent completion rate with 14 touchdowns to four interceptions while recording 427 rushing yards with four touchdowns in 15 games played. He was able to remain efficient despite losing his starting job in the second half of the season.

Nonetheless, he has another opportunity in front of him to prove himself with the Browns that he can be a viable starting quarterback in the league. Cleveland may already have tabbed rookie Baker Mayfield their long-term future at the position, the 2018 season will be huge for determining this next stretch of Taylor's career.
