Before he released his latest rap song recently, with the title “No Worries,” not a lot has been heard from Damian Lillard this summer. He made some headlines when he tried to recruit Carmelo Anthony earlier in the offseason, but apart from that, he has remained relatively quiet. That will change though soon, as October 6th will be a huge day for him.
The Portland Trail Blazers star guard took to his Twitter account to announce that he will be launching his second album on that day. But that's not all. Lillard will also release his latest signature shoe, the Dame 4s from Adidas, on the same day.

The announcement comes after the two-time All-Star made it known that the track “Run it Up,” will be available on Friday. It’s his collaboration with rap artist Lil Wayne. Just last week, Blazers beat reporter Casey Holdahl gave Lillard’s fans a sneak peak of his new kicks, by sharing a photo of him wearing them while taking some shots inside a gym.

The Dame 4 looks so nice. Like a cross between a hoop shoe and the NMD. pic.twitter.com/pXuWPTqBVl

The last couple of weeks have been very exciting ones for Damian Lillard, as he continues to grow his brand with his passion for music and for the game of basketball.
