The Portland Trail Blazers superstar guard Damian Lillard is having himself a moment.

The 28-year-old recently produced one of the most stunning buzzer-beaters in NBA history. With seconds remaining, Lillard hoisted up a 37-foot bomb with brilliant defender Paul George of the Oklahoma City Thunder in front of him. Boom. In it went.

The Portland crowd erupted, and the Thunder were sent home packing – defeated by a four games to one margin in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Lillard thoroughly outplayed Russell Westbrook, and Lillard’s sneaker company of choice, Adidas, benefited from all the news and buzz surrounding Dame after the game was over, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo:

As you can see, Damian’s moment in the spotlight helped lift sales of his signature sneaker to stunning new heights – though a $50 off discount code might have also had something to do with it.

After his brilliant buzzer-beater, Dame must be mentioned as one of the most clutch players in the NBA, as this is now twice (two times) that he has defeated a team with a buzzer-beating triple to end a series.

Due to the chippy nature of this series, this game-winner must be even sweeter to Lillard. Adidas has Dame’s brilliant performance to thank for a whopping increase in sales, too.
