Portland Trail Blazers star CJ McCollum and Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker is ready for Golden State Warriors rookie Jordan Poole.

Recently in the Las Vegas Summer League, Poole said that he's looking forward to guarding McCollum and Booker in the NBA. Apparently, CJ saw the 20-year-old's comments and reacted on Twitter accordingly.

McCollum sent some sort of a warning to Poole, tagging Booker and telling him to make sure to give the Warriors freshman “a warm welcome” — something that CJ seems hellbent on also doing.

Fortunately for McCollum and Booker, they will have plenty of chances to face against Poole. The Blazers and Suns each play the Dubs four times in the regular season.

Poole, however, needs to be ready and backup his words. McCollum and Booker are two of the deadliest scorers in the NBA, and it takes extra effort to stop them.

McCollum is the Blazers' second leading scorer behind Damian Lillard. In the 2018-19 season, the 27-year-old averaged 21.0 points on 45.9 percent shooting from the field and 37.5 percent shooting from deep. Meanwhile, Booker top-scored for the Suns, putting up 26.7 points on a 46.7 percent shooting clip — including 32.6 percent from 3-point territory.

Poole may not be the biggest name in the 2019 rookie class, but it should be exciting to see how he will fare against CJ and Devin.
