Damian Lillard becomes first Blazers player to score 50 points in back-to-back games

Damian Lillard, Blazers

Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard is the first player in franchise history to score 50 points in back-to-back games.

Damian Lillard said he wasn’t going to come to Florida if the Blazers didn’t have anything to play for. Portland has plenty on the line, as they are trying to secure a spot in the play-in game to determine who will be the eighth seed in the Western Conference for the 2020 playoffs.

Lillard entered Tuesday averaging 29.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 8.0 assists. His scoring average will continue to rise after his latest 50 burger.
