The Portland Trail Blazers' duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum has been one of the best backcourts in the NBA for years. The pair of professional bucket-getters got it going against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night.

Around the seven-minute mark of the second quarter, McCollum made a terrific read and cut to the hoop before receiving a great dish from Carmelo Anthony. The 29-year-old Blazers star added some extra flair on a double-pump reverse beauty over Pistons forward Isaiah Stewart:

Not to be outdone by his good buddy CJ, Lillard showed his hops a few possessions later and also drove hard to the teeth of the Pistons' interior defense. The 30-year-old superstar, however, chose power over finesse on this one, rocking the rim with a one-handed slam:

With Dame and CJ both on top of their games, Portland blitzed the East-worst Detroit team, 118-103. The pair combined for 53 points as Lillard finished with 27 points and 10 dimes, while McCollum wasn't far behind with 26 points.

The Blazers, meanwhile, are certainly at their best when Lillard and McCollum take turns on offense. They currently occupy the sixth spot in the Western Conference with a 31-21 win-loss record. While Portland's backcourt is feared for their long-range sniping, the duo just proved they're also a force to be reckoned with on the drive.
