Since entering the league, Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard has established a legitimate rap career.

Lillard put that on full display during a recent appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Friday with his “#4BarsFriday” challenge.

The 27-year-old has been participating in his “#4BarsFriday” challenge for several months where he puts forth a video of himself rapping a short verse on Instagram every Friday. Lillard has put forth much more than just that as he has been releasing multiple rap songs that include dropping his first official album called The Letter O, which had peaked on the US Billboard 200 chart at 119.

He has even had a pair of his songs featured on NBA 2K's soundtrack for the NBA2K18 video game. He has also performed at various shows over the last couple of years during the offseason. In this short time, Lillard has also earned the recognition across the league from his peers as being the best rapper among his fellow colleagues.

Once he does eventually step away from the court, Lillard does have a legitimate career that he can focus much more attention to once he retires from the NBA. His notoriety from playing on the court and his skill on the microphone should help further his success in that career field.
