Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard told reporters on Wednesday his hamstring is “a little bit sore.”

Lillard thinks he took a knee to his hamstring in Game 1 against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday:

Lillard played 36 minutes in the Game 1 loss. He finished with 19 points while shooting just 4-of-12 from the field and 2-of-5 from beyond the arc. The Blazers lost by 22 points. Lillard had seven turnovers as well.

The Blazers will look to even up the series in Game 2, which is on Thursday. Portland is hoping Lillard can find his shooting stroke. The All-Star guard is shooting just 24.1 percent from the floor and 28.6 percent from the 3-point line in his last two games.

The Blazers have no shot to win this series if Lillard doesn't play like the superstar he is. Lillard averaged 33.0 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round and 25.1 points versus the Denver Nuggets in the second round. The Blazers need to find a way to get Lillard more easy looks on offense in Game 2.

The Warriors will be without Kevin Durant in Game 2 again. Portland needs to take advantage of that and come out firing at Oracle Arena on Thursday night.
