Damian Lillard is a man of the people. The Portland Trail Blazers superstar has always bet on himself and always makes sure that he pays back fans who bet on him as well. On Sunday, a Lillard fan seemed to have gone all-in with the Blazers for their 2020-21 campaign with a once-in-a-lifetime bet for the Blazers to get to at least 42 wins.
His wager? Nothing major, just his house. Dame's response was epic, as always.

Twitter user @LordTreeSap must be pissing his pants right now out of pure excitement now that Lillard has his eyes set on the fan's bet. I mean, it's not as if Lillard needed extra motivation to try and grab the fifth or even the fourth spot in the West heading into the 2021 playoffs.
Currently, the Blazers are sitting on a 32-24 record which means they're just 10 wins away from making sure this man has a roof on top of his head. They still have 16 games left to try and get to a 42-win season but the thing is, their upcoming schedule won't be the easiest of stretches.
10 of their last 16 games will be against playoff contenders in the West. They'll be facing teams vying for a play-in spot as they go up against the San Antonio Spurs as well as the Memphis Grizzlies who they'll be battling in thrice.
They also have upcoming games against the Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets, and the defending champions the Los Angeles Lakers. Add to that, they would also need to face against top contenders in the East like the Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks, and the Boston Celtics.
