On Saturday night, the Portland Trail Blazers suffered a tough defeat against the Milwaukee Bucks. They led for most of the game, but still lost, following a big defensive play from Giannis Antetokounmpo on his teammate, C.J. McCollum.

With only 15 seconds left, The Greek Freak completed a clutch steal on the former Most Improved Player, which led to his go-ahead basket. Damian Lillard gave his reaction to the defense he put up during the play, by taking to his Twitter account, and giving him credit for the great stop he made.

On the ensuing play, Antetokounmpo was the hero for the Bucks once again, as he sealed the win with a game-saving block on Jusuf Nurkic, and denied him of giving the lead back to the Blazers. His stellar play this season so far has not gone unnoticed, as many are already considering him a top candidate for the MVP Award, despite only three games into the season.

Lillard's praise for him goes to show that he gives credit when it is due. He is not shy in speaking his mind, and offered nothing but good words to him, even if they are opponents on the court. His post could also serve as a wake up call to his teammates to learn from the play, in order for it not to happen again to them next time.
