Carmelo Anthony has rejuvenated his NBA career with the Portland Trail Blazers this season, and Dwyane Wade couldn't be happier about it.

As most people know, Wade and Anthony are essentially brothers (via NBA on TNT)

Anthony's NBA career appeared over after the Houston Rockets exiled and traded him to the Chicago Bulls last season. The Bulls then waived Anthony after acquiring him and the future Hall of Famer didn't get signed by anyone despite being linked to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Anthony remained on the open market in 2019-20 until the Blazers swooped in and signed him. It hasn't always been pretty, but Anthony has played well with Portland and Wade is just pleased to see his friend back in the NBA.

Anthony is averaging 15.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists a night in 56 games with the Blazers. The 10-time All-Star, who thought about retirement during his exile, is also shooting 42.8 percent from the field, 38.2 percent from beyond the arc and 84.7 percent from the free throw line.

Blazers stars Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum love playing with Anthony. With that said, we could see Melo re-sign with Portland in the offseason, as he becomes an unrestricted free agent and should command some attention from teams outside of the Blazers since he's shown he's able to adapt to not being the No. 1 guy on offense anymore.
