Portland Trail Blazers big man Hassan Whiteside was still in a very festive mood Friday night, as he had his very own block party in a 107-103 win against the Chicago Bulls. The 30-year-old swatted away 10 shots on the evening, as he helped his team to a tightly-contested win against a struggling Bulls side.

Following the victory, Whiteside was congratulated for his record-breaking performance, but as it turns out, the 7-foot center also had other pressing matter on his mind. Here's the link for Whiteside's hilarious post-game interview where he demands for his stolen trash cans back.

For some context, Whiteside took to Instagram early on Friday morning to share how some thieves decided to steal his trash bins, while also opting to leave behind his Thanksgiving garbage.

While this may be a pretty funny narrative, this is still theft of someone's property we're talking about here. It is necessary that this issue is taken seriously, as this incident will surely have an impact on Whiteside and his family's sense of security in their new Portland home.

Whiteside joined the Blazers this summer as part of a four-team trade, and the former All-Defensive team member has been outstanding for hie new team thus far. In 17 starts, Whiteside is currently averaging 14.8 points (on 58.3 percent shooting), 12.4 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks. The seven-year veteran has played a huge role for Portland of late, with the team now on a three-game winning streak, as they look to turn their season around.
