With time winding down and the game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers inside the Moda Center tied at 110 apiece, there was no doubt who will take the last shot for the home team.

After the ball was inbounded to Damian Lillard, he dribbled the ball and put on some moves against his taller defender, Brandon Ingram. With less than three seconds left, he stepped-back for a 3-pointer and knocked it down to give the Blazers a three-point lead with only 0.7 seconds left.

Lillard's clutch basket proved to be the game-winner, as Kyle Kuzma failed to nail a shot from beyond the arc that would’ve sent the match to overtime. The Blazers star finished with 32 points to lead all scorers, and added six rebounds and five assists across his name.

The win took the Blazers a game above .500 with a 5-4 win-loss slate. More importantly, they snapped a two-game losing streak, and Damian Lillard proved once again that he is one of the best clutch performers in the NBA today.

The Blazers will have two days off before they return to action on Sunday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Lakers on the other hand, will play the second game of their back-to-back set on Friday, when they host the Brooklyn Nets.
