The Portland Trail Blazers fell short to the Dallas Mavericks, 133-125. However, fans who caught the game were aware that Damian Lillard could have easily turned the game on its head with another masterful performance.

He played great basketball against the Mavs despite the loss. His crossover and dunk with Kristaps Porzingis trailing him is one of the few highlights that Blazers fans can take from the night.

It was a fantastic display that was a perfect metaphor to how the game went for the Blazers: the rest of the team were all watching by the sidelines while Lillard did all of the work. It was a painful sight to see for Blazers fans.

Dame Time was activated throughout the night as CJ McCollum was still out and Carmelo Anthony shot a terrible 33% to get his 16 points. He finished with 47 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and a steal during the narrow loss.

Blazers fans hope that the rest of their roster comes back healthy because Lillard can only do so much by himself.
