Phil Mickelson has always had a strong troll game. The trash talk is always funny and he isn't afraid to say what's on his mind.

After a less than stellar first round at the BMW Championship that had Phil Mickelson sitting near the bottom of the barrel in the standings, the lefty with the smooth swing decided to troll himself.

“Who is ready to ball? This guy. This guy is ready to ball. I'm in last place, nothing to lose, go for broke…I'm ready to ball…”

How can anyone not love Phil Mickelson?

He's embracing his spot at the bottom of the tournament and how could he not be fired up after that pep talk. It appeared to work early on too as Mickelson started his second round at the BMW Championship (-2) through six holes. Not too shabby of a bounce back.

Mickelson has had quite the eventful year that has been topped with his victory at the PGA Championship back in May. He did it at age 50, becoming the oldest golfer to win one of the four major championships.

Then this summer, Mickelson took place in “The Match” as he partnered up with Tom Brady to take on Aaron Rodgers and Bryson DeChambeau. Mickelson and Brady didn't win but it was wildly entertaining to watch from start to finish.
