Houston Alexander is the newest MMA fighter to make the switch over to Bareknuckle Boxing. The former UFC fighter made sure to make his debut very memorable.

The knockout was vicious as Alexander landed a right hook to send his opponent crashing to the canvas. However, his MMA instincts appeared to kick in as he landed a follow-up punch on the fighter sprawled out on the canvas.

Alexander looked comfortable in the cage and despite not competing since 2017, he was able to find his openings quickly. It appears he has a bright future in boxing with no gloves.

The follow-up punch could and many argue should have cost him the fight but the Nebraska commission didn't rule the contest as anything other than a KO win Houston Alexander. The result could have been overturned to a disqualification.

Houston Alexander is a veteran of many big MMA promotions including UFC, Bellator, and KSW. He is known for his KO win Keith Jardine and has fought famous names like Kimbo Slice and Thiago Silva.

At 49-years-old it's unclear how many years Alexander has left in combat sports but it's tough to imagine he has a very long future in BKFC. His hands certainly look sharp so he does have a few fights in him in Bareknuckle.

BKFC 21 included some memorable names, including Jason High, and also had every fight end before the third round with every contest ending via knockout. The exciting event saw Mike Richman knockout Dakota Cochrane in the main event.
