Ronald Acuna Jr is one of the most electrifying players in baseball and can virtually do anything on a diamond. We saw just that last season when he not only smacked 41 home runs but also swiped 73 bags en route to his first NL MVP. But, could the Atlanta Braves star be even better? Well, if he started switch-hitting, that would become an absolute nightmare for opposing pitchers.

Amid the offseason, Acuna Jr is practicing just that while back home in Venezuela. A video was released on Wednesday morning via Bally Sports: Braves of the outfielder taking some cuts from the left side and to be honest, his swing looked pretty:

Of course, that had Braves fans buzzing about Acuna Jr possibly hitting from both sides of the dish in 2024, and although it likely won't happen, it was an exciting sight.

That last tweet says it all. Perhaps Ronald Acuna Jr was getting bored with absolutely raking on a daily basis so he wanted a challenge? All jokes aside, seeing him swing it from the left side is definitely a sight for sore eyes.

Acuna Jr finished the 2023 campaign with a .337 average to go along with his massive numbers, including 106 RBI as well. There are no signs of him slowing down but at this point, Acuna Jr undoubtedly wants to take the Braves back to the Promised Land and win another World Series.

With a ridiculously talented core, Atlanta has every chance of doing so. It simply comes down to getting it done in the playoffs and that means Acuna Jr needs to produce, too.

We'll see if he takes some lefty hacks in Spring Training.
