Kit, the newest Legendary Brawler in Brawl Stars, who releases next year in early January. This new looney-tune themed cat brawler is the newest brawler for the upcoming Brawl Stars Season 22. Overall, Kit is the first Legendary Support Brawler in Brawl Stars. However, this kitty's claws do enough damage to keep even the toughest brawlers away from him, Without further ado, here's our guide on Kit, how to unlock him, and how to use him.

Brawl Stars Kit Guide – How To Unlock The Newest Legendary Brawler

To unlock Kit in Brawl Stars, players must purchase Kit for 3800 credits  when he releases on January 4th. However, like Chuck, Supercell released an Early Access Kit bundle for $29.99. The bundle itself includes the brawler, coins (5,000), pins (4), XP doublers (5,000), and a Billy the Kit skin over a seven day period. Additionally, Kit must be the selected brawler on Starr Road for your credits to count towards receiving him.

Kit is the first brawler of the Starr Toon Studio trio, a new looney-tune themed trio that looks much different from our current roster. However, Kit alone has us excited for what his fantastic trio could be.

Brawl Stars Kit Guide – All Attacks, Stats Per Level

Firstly, like Darryl, Kit possesses a trait that allows him to charge his Super over time. Keep this in mind before you begin to strategize with him.

Kit's main attack, Claws, attacks all enemies in close range. The attack hits in an arc, similar to Bibi's main attack. However, Kit's attack has a slight delay of 0.25 to complete. However, it takes only 0.8 seconds to reload this attack, making it effective in CQC situations.

Kit does have a second main attack, Yarn Balls which activates when he uses his Super to leap onto a teammate (more on this later). For this attack, Kit launches bombs 0f yarn that bounce when landing, blowing up after two seconds. While it takes two seconds to reload, Kit deals an insane amount of damage in this mode.

His Super ability, Carry Me, launches Kit at either teammates or opponents. If Kit lands on the former, he becomes attached to the teammate and switches to his Yarn Balls attack. For the next ten seconds, Kit heals his teammates for each second he remains on their back. However, Kit can also use Carry Me to launch onto enemies, allowing him to stop the enemy and deal damage to them over time. Overall, both seem useful for plenty of situations.

Kit does not yet possess a Hypercharge ability.

Kit Gadgets and Star Powers – Which Ones Are The Best?

the newest legendary brawler gets two new gadgets and Star Powers:

  • Cardboard Box
    • “Hide in a cardboard box becoming invisible for 5 seconds. Charges the Super 100% faster while stationary.”
  • Cheeseburger
    • “Heals himself and the friendly Brawler he is attached to for 40%.”

Kit's Star Powers:

  • Power Cube
    • “Kit gains 200% power from each Power Cube.”
  • Overly Attached
    • “Kit attaches to friendly Brawlers for 5 seconds longer.”

Kit has access to the following Gears:

  • Speed
  • Vision
  • Health
  • Shield
  • Damage
  • Gadget Charge

Brawl Stars Kit Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget and Gear Setup

For gadgets, we prefer Cheeseburger over Cardboard Box. The latter helps you charge your Super if you stay still, but we like the immediate healing properties of Cheeseburger. It could be the matter between life and death if you can heal your teammate for 40% of their HP. However, use Cardboard Box if you prefer to play Solo modes like Showdown.

We recommend Kit's Overly Attached Star Powers for 3v3 games, and Power Cube for Showdown or specific Mega Pig matches. Overly Attached lets you heal your teammate longer while using your insanely powerful ranged attack. Overall, this one works better in most team modes. However, his Power Cube Star Power is the better choice for Showdown matches. Additionally, we recommend using it during Mega Pig matches with the Power Cube Modifier.

For Gears, we recommend acquiring the Speed, Damage, or Shield Gear. Overall, use the Damage Gear 100% of the time, since it always helps to deal more. However, switch between the shield and speed gear depending on the layout of the map. If the map provides a lot of bushes, then use the speed gear. Otherwise, use the Shield gear for extra protection.

Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Kit In (And Which Modes You Shouldn't)

Brawl Ball

Kit's Super alone has the power to stop potential scorers dead in their tracks. Additionally, he can leap on the ball-carrier's back, heal them, and provide them cover with his Yarn Balls attack. This combination of offense and defense makes Kit a potentially dangerous target in Brawl Ball. Use his Cheeseburger Gadget and Overly Attached Star Power to maximize the efficiency of this strategy.

Gem Grab

While not a great gem carrier, Kit can easily wipe out enemy gem grabbers with his Super. Whether he wants to leap on a teammate's back and deal massive damage, or jump on an enemy and snag their gems, Kit makes for a great brawler in Gem Grab. We recommend using his Cheeseburger and Overly Attached Star Power for this mode to fully utilize his abilities.

Showdown

With a Star Power dedicated to increasing his power with Cubes, Kit is a no-brain option for Solo Showdown. After acquiring enough power cubes, he'll easily wipe out the competition across the map. With a constantly charging Super, Kit will go wild in Showdown. Use his Cardboard Box Gadget and Power Cube Star Power for max efficiency of his abilities. Camouflaging yourself should help in getting out of tight situations.

Heist

Whether he attaches himself to use his Yarn-Balls on the safe, or he swipes away while charging his Super, Kit could be very good in Heist. However, with low HP, he might not be able to attack for long without losing a live, or nine. That said, using Kit to attach to your teammates makes better use of him within this mode.

Brawl Stars Kit Guide – What Modes Should I NOT Use Mico In?

Hot Zone

Since Hot Zone requires brawlers to stay within the objective to earn points, we don't recommend Kit for it. Additionally, a short-range brawler in Hot Zone typically only works if they have enough HP to take the damage. Kit unfortunately possesses very little HP, making him an easy target to take down. However, he should still have some use while attached to a teammate's back.

Bounty/Knockout/Wipeout

Most short range brawlers tend not to perform well in long range maps. In Bounty, Knockout and Wipeout, most maps tend to be long-range. While Kit wouldn't necessarily be terrible, we just imagine Mandy's and Pipers making slight work of him. However, if you still want to use Kit, try his Overly Attached Star Power and Cheeseburger Gadget. At least then he should have a fighting chance.

Overall, Kit feels really fun to use with just his Super alone. He has some interesting gadgets and Star Powers, making him useful in solo or team-based modes. Overall, we definitely recommend picking up this Legendary Brawler if you have the means to do so. At this point, we look forward to the release of Larry & Lawrie in Season 23, which releases in February.

Additionally, you still have time to pick up Mico, the newest Mythic Brawler, for free before the Brawlidays event ends. Make sure to pick him up so you can save Credits for Kit.
