Al Horford will have made $267,386,768 in NBA money by the time his current contract ends with the Philadelphia 76ers in the summer of 2023, per Spotrac.

The Atlanta Hawks drafted Horford in the 2007 draft. The Florida product made $3,745,800 during his rookie season and averaged 10.1 points and 9.7 rebounds per game for Atlanta. In his second year, Horford earned $4,026,720.

To finish out his four-year rookie contract with the Hawks, Al Horford made $4,307,640 in Year 3 and $5,444,857 in Year 4. Before Horford started his fourth season, the Hawks signed him to a five-year, $60 million rookie-scale extension. The contract kicked in during the 2011-12 lockout year. Horford made $9,658,537 that season and put up 12.4 points and 7.0 rebounds.

However, he was only able to play in 11 games because of injuries.

In 2012-13, Horford made $12 million. He completed his rookie-scale extension by making $12 million a year from 2012 to 2016 and then spurned the Hawks for the Boston Celtics during the summer of 2016. Horford signed a monster four-year contract worth $113 million with the Celtics.

Al Horford made $26,540,100 in his first season with Boston. The All-Star averaged 14.0 points and 6.8 rebounds per game and helped the Celtics get all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals, where the team ultimately lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Horford earned $27,734,405 in Year 2 of his Celtics contract and $28,928,709 in Year 3. The former All-NBA center left the Celtics in the summer of 2019 to sign another massive contract, this time with the Sixers. Horford agreed to a four-year, $109 million contract with the Sixers. $97 million of the deal is guaranteed.

Al Horford was set to make $28 million in 2019-20 before games were suspended due to COVID-19. The five-time All-Star struggled in his first year in Philly. He was averaging just 12.0 points and 6.9 boards in 60 games prior to the NBA putting the season on hold. Horford also got booed at home games by Sixers fans.

Moving forward, Horford is due $27,500,000 in 2020-21, $27 million in 2021-22 and $26,500,000 in 2022-23.
