Ben McAdoo is coming off a tumultuous tenure as head coach of the New York Giants. After getting fired by that team back in early December, McAdoo could jumpstart his sideline career with the Denver Broncos, who reportedly list McAdoo among those they are considering to take over as their quarterbacks coach, according to Mike Klis of KUSA.

As noted by Klis’ report, McAdoo is interested in finding a job as an offensive coordinator, but that position is not open in Denver with Bill Musgrave recently promoted to the role.

Should McAdoo land with Denver, he will reunite with Broncos head coach Vance Joseph. Both men worked for the San Francisco 49ers as offensive line coach and defensive backs coach, respectively. McAdoo has experience coaching quarterbacks, serving in that capacity for the Green Bay Packers from 2012 to 2013.

Injuries to key players and seemingly endless bouts with controversies defined McAdoo’s head coaching stint in New York.

After steering the team to a playoff appearance in his first year on the job with the Giants, McAdoo had to weather a steady stream of obstacles this season, including losing Odell Beckham Jr. early on. His team only had two wins when he was sacked on December 4th, with the last straw being McAdoo benching Eli Manning to end his NFL-leading starts streak (it ranks second all-time behind Brett Favre).
