The Denver Broncos have a dilemma in the quarterback position. Joe Flacco injured his neck in a loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The injury has been so severe that the team is considering putting him on the injured reserve for the remainder of the season.

Ian Rapoport reported the possibility of the former Baltimore Raven ending his season prematurely for the second straight year.

This is interesting news for the team as it puts them in a lot of interesting situations moving forward. The team has already made adjustments to the side, naming Brandon Allen as the team's starting quarterback. It also gives Drew Lock a chance to take some snaps in the final games of the season.

Moreover, news of Flacco's possible move to the IR is suspicious if his recent press conference is put into consideration. The 34-year-old wasn't afraid to vent out his thoughts and called out his teammates for their poor performances.

New York Post's Mark Fischer writes:

“We’re just not playing good football,” Flacco told reporters after the loss. “They came after us and we kind of let them come after us. You’ve got to give a lot of credit to them. They played really physical. They came hard. They played downhill and we were in a lot of bad situations.”

Things aren't looking good from Flacco's end. Given his fiery press conference, it's unlikely that he'll be able to play another snap under Vic Fangio again. This means Joe Flacco may be headed for another team, but it looks like this is the beginning of the end for him.
