Jeudy, 21, was the Broncos' first-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft, taking the Alabama product with the 15th overall pick. Jeudy was a standout receiver in his sophomore and junior years at Tuscaloosa. tallying 77 catches for over 1,100 receiving yards for 10 touchdowns in 2019 for the Crimson Tide. Jeudy was a consensus All-American the prior season and a first-team All-SEC member the past two seasons.

The Broncos selected Jeudy over several impressive receivers on the board at the draft in April, including Oklahoma's CeeDee Lamb and LSU's Justin Jefferson. Jeudy was just the second wideout taken in the draft after the newly relocated AFC West division rival Las Vegas Raiders took Jeudy's Alabama teammate Henry Ruggs III three spots ahead of Denver.

Lock, 23, is coming off a debut season in the NFL where he started in the Broncos' five final matchups of the 2019 campaign, going 4-1 and only losing to rival and eventual Super Bowl LIV champion Kansas City Chiefs. In five games, the young Lock threw for 1,020 yards with a 64.1 completion percentage, totaling seven touchdowns and three interceptions.

Broncos fans are eager to see if Lock and Jeudy develop solid chemistry and can be the foundational core to an emerging offense for years to come.
