Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is getting stronger every day from his torn Achilles injury but according to Mike Klis of 9News.com Sanders still isn't expected to be ready to return to the field until around the start of training camp.

Sanders tore his Achilles early in December during practice and has been rehabbing to get back to the field since. Sanders is already running full speed and once he did that it's when he knew he was going to be okay.

“Once they told me I hit 19.2 [miles per hour] and it's only four months in, I was like, ‘All right, I still got it,'” Sanders said, via Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official website.

Sanders said last week he was feeling good, but he wasn't going to rush back from the injury.

“We'll see,” he said. “You know how the trainers are. We're not going to put a date on anything. We're just going to take it one day at a time. Hopefully I'm back out there by then, but if I'm not, I'm not going to rush it. I'm going to take my time and make sure I'm 100 percent by the time I get on the field.”

Sanders led the team last year in receiving catching 71 passes for 868 yards and four touchdowns. The hop is once he returns he and Joe Flacco can get back on the same page and have a big year together.

Sanders is 32 years old and is entering the last year of his current contract.
