No further details have been provided regarding Gordon’s citation, but we will be passing along any new information as they come.
Gordon is coming off one of his best games for the Broncos, following the team’s 37-28 victory over the New York Jets in Week 4. The 27-year-old scored a 43-yard touchdown late in the game to help cement the win for Denver. Gordon rushed 23 times for 107 yards throughout the contest, which marked his first 100-yard outing for his team.
Thanks in part to Gordon’s strong play, the Broncos notched their first win of the season, after losing its first three games of the campaign.
They are slated to take on the New England Patriots in Week 6, and it remains to be seen if Gordon will be available for that one.
