Over this offseason, Phillip Lindsay was recovering from a wrist injury he suffered in 2018. The second-year Denver Broncos running back was present for the start of training camp but missed practices this weekend due to an unusual occurrence.

According to Mike Klis of KUSA, Phillip Lindsay returned to the practice field for Denver on Monday. Klis might have been referring to Lindsay missing weekend practices due to back soreness.

Yet, Lindsay didn't get the back soreness from anything on the field. Rather, Lindsay got his back soreness while he was being worked on by a chiropractor.

Nevertheless, Lindsay is back on the practice field with the Broncos and is ready to get back to work. Head coach Vic Fangio has high expectations for Lindsay in his second season in the NFL.

Last season, Lindsay was brought to Denver as an undrafted running back out of Colorado. Despite not being drafted, Lindsay worked his way up the depth chart and impressed the coaching staff.

As a result, Lindsay was named the starter while fellow rookie Royce Freeman also received carries. The undrafted Lindsay became one of the best stories in the 2018 season.

In 2018, Lindsay rushed for 1,037 yards on 192 carries and got into the end zone 10 times. His 1,037 yards made him the third undrafted rookie running back in NFL history to rush for over 1,000 yards. In addition, he became the first undrafted rookie running back to ever be named to the Pro Bowl.
