Russell Wilson has been with the Denver Broncos for about a month now. The Seattle Seahawks traded the quarterback to Denver in exchange for Noah Fant, Drew Lock, Shelby Harris, and multiple draft picks.

Despite being one of the newest members of the team, Wilson wasted no time getting to know his new squad. As the new leader, he has already formed relationships with his teammates, according to Broncos receiver Courtland Sutton.

NBC Sports PFT reports that the two converse on FaceTime frequently to talk about the upcoming season. The Denver receiver emphasized Wilson's deep knowledge of the game and said that he is very open to sharing his knowledge with his teammates.

“His knowledge of the game is to a different level,” Sutton said, all quotes courtesy of NBC Sports, first reported by ESPN's Jeff Legwold.

“It comes to him so easy, he wants everyone around him to understand it the way he understands it…[But] you all can feel it, we all can feel it, the juice is just different.”

Sutton then compared Wilson's status to that of Broncos legend Peyton Manning.

“I wasn’t here when Peyton Manning was here, but everyone who was here when Peyton was said the juice is similar…Everyone understands we have to operate at a different level, a different standard.”

This isn't the first story that has come out regarding Wilson's recurring FaceTime calls to players. Randy Gregory signed with the Broncos shortly after Wilson joined the team. According to the outside linebacker, Wilson's frequent FaceTime calls and text messages played a big part in the recruitment process.
