Denver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been taken to a hospital following his scary hit to the head against the Cincinnati Bengals.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Broncos took Bridgewater to a hospital as a precaution because of the head injury he sustained in the contest. In a bit of a good news, though, he has “movement in all his extremities.”

Teddy Bridgewater sustained the injury midway in the third quarter of their Week 15 game against the Bengals. After he escaped the initial Cincinnati defenders to rush with the ball, he jumped at the threat of another Bengal tackling him.

However, in a scary turn of events, the Broncos QB wasn't able to control his landing and fell head-first. He was unable to move as players from both teams expressed their concerns for the veteran signal-caller, with some kneeling around him. Bridgewater was eventually carted off the field.

Here's a look at the full play that led to the injury:

Here's to hoping that Teddy Bridgewater's injury is not that serious and that he would be able to return to the field sooner rather than later. Head injuries are always scary that can lead to various issues, aside from the possibility of a concussion.

Before he exited the game, Bridgewater has thrown for 98 yards on 12-of-22 passing. Drew Lock replaced him in the lineup as the Broncos tried to come back from the contest.
