It has been nothing short than a train wreck this season for the Denver Broncos. Currently trekking on an eight-game losing streak, a lot of the team's issues have fallen on the shoulders of quarterback Trevor Siemian.

In turn, a third-year quarterback, Trevor Siemian has been sent to the bench on more than one occasion. Siemian has admitted that it has been a year that he has struggled to grasp any true rhythm.

Via Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post:

“I’m kind of out of sync at times,” Siemian said. “In times I haven’t played well, there hasn’t been a real rhythm with me and that trickles all the way through the offense.

Things have fallen apart after a promising start for the QB. Through the first two games of the season, he tossed six touchdowns while he ranked fifth in the league with a 106.9 passer rating. At the time, the Broncos held a 2-0 record behind 33.0 points per contest. Since then, Denver holds a 1-6 record in the last seven games that he has played, including a current five-game skid.

Siemian has failed to provide any sort of stability to the offense ranking just ahead of Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Mitchell Turbisky with a 24.6 quarterback rating while placing 30th with a 58.9 completion percentage, second with 13 interceptions, and 31st with a 72.7 passer rating. On top of that, his struggles have created much uncertainty around his future in Denver and the direction of the franchise.

If anything, the last four games of the regular season could be a stronger indicator of what may transpire during this upcoming offseason.
