The Brooklyn Nets have been struggling lately. They have lost three straight games and dropped out of first place in the Eastern Conference. The team has been hit hard by COVID-19, with a number of players entering the league's health and safety protocols. Nets superstar Kevin Durant has looked a bit worn down with the amount of minutes he has been playing.
That prompted the discussion of the organization potentially bringing back Kyrie Irving to the team. A couple weeks ago, Nets general manager Sean Marks announced that they were going to allow Irving to play in road games. As soon as Irving became active, he was immediately placed into the COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
However, the Nets released their injury report for Wednesday's game at the Indiana Pacers. For the first time this season, Irving did not appear on the list.
Kyrie Irving is NOT listed on Brooklyn's injury report for Wednesday's game at Indiana for the first time this season, suggesting he will indeed make his season debut against the Pacers.

That is the first real sign that Irving will finally get to play alongside Kevin Durant and James Harden. The three superstars have only played eight games together since the beginning of last season. It would be a much welcomed addition to a team in need of depth and scoring.

In Brooklyn's last loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, Durant and Harden shot a combined 13 for 38 from the field. Despite playing 11 players, there was not much of an impact made by others from the squad.
The Nets are 23-12 and two games back of the Chicago Bulls for the top spot in the East.
