The NFL, and the NBA for that matter, has been hit hard with numerous COVID-19 cases recently. So much so, the league has updated its protocols. However, the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback Baker Mayfield isn't too pleased with what is going on within the league.

Mayfield took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with the NFL. He straight up calls out the league for their inconsistency in COVID protocols as they've only tested three teams. Regardless of the spiked cases within the organization, the NFL has no plans of postponing any games whatsoever. For that reason, the Browns won't have many of their starters on the field against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Browns quarterback continues, as he follows it up by calling out the NFL's potential inconsistent actions.

COVID has hit the NFL hard yet again. Cases are spiking across the country due to the new Omicron variant spreading around. Last year, the NFL was able to make adjustments to the schedule when cases began rising. This year, however, the league seems adamant about not postponing any games, putting the Browns in a tough spot for Week 15.

For now, the Browns are set to take on the Raiders on Saturday in what is an important AFC matchup. Both teams are in the hunt for playoff positioning. However, with the COVID cases plummeting Cleveland's roster, it'll be difficult for them to achieve a much-needed win.

We'll see how it plays out, but the Browns are in trouble in Week 15. Maybe Baker Mayfield's criticism of the league opens the eyes of Rodger Goodell and he decides to make postponements. Don't hold your breath waiting for that decision through.
