It looks like new Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson wants Jarvis Landry back with the team.

The Browns had to release Landry this offseason in order to clear cap space after they traded for Amari Cooper from the Dallas Cowboys. However, all hope is not lost for the team to pursue the veteran wideout following the restructuring of Cooper's contract to create cap space that would allow both Landry and Jadeveon Clowney back.

Cornerback Greg Newsome II pleaded the Browns to “get Juice Back” in a tweet, and when Watson saw it, he liked the post as well—a strong indication that he also desires to have Landry alongside him.

Jarvis Landry is already garnering plenty of interest from around the NFL, so it might be difficult for the Browns to re-sign him. Right after his release from Cleveland, the five-time Pro Bowler has been linked with the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers.

Of course, familiarity with their system and a new promising QB can play in favor of the Browns in their bid to get Landry back, and it certainly helps that Deshaun Watson himself is campaigning for Landry to return.

The Browns are positioning themselves to playoff contention with every move they make. Re-signing Landry is another step forward in that direction as they become more and more scary on the offensive end.
