Cleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson has made it clear again that he wants to be traded and it doesn't appear that coach Freddie Kitchens cares.

Kitchens said on NFL Network that he doesn't think that Johnson's comments about wanting to be traded are actually as meaningful as what the media is making it out to be.

“I’ve said this numerous times: No disrespect to you guys, but the media creating something more than, it was just a comment,” Kitchens said via Pro Football Talk. “He wants to be traded, you know. I want to win the lottery, alright So it doesn’t matter. He’s a Cleveland Brown. He’s under contract. He’s going to be used to the best of his ability and what benefits the team. And that’s what we’re going with. As far as the media-driven controversies, there’s no controversy on our team.”

Johnson doesn't think he is being used enough with the Browns, which is the reason for the request. Johnson reported to mandatory camp but made it clear the only reason he is there is so he doesn't lose any money that would come by way of a fine.

Even with the requests, Kitchens comments make it clear how the Browns feel about the situation, and they have no interest in trading him anytime soon.

Unless the Browns are blown away by an offer, don't expect Johnson to get his request fulfilled anytime soon. The Browns are going to keep Johnson around and use him to their advantage this upcoming season.
