Cleveland Browns left tackle Greg Robinson has been fined $10,527 for kicking Tennessee Titans safety Kenny Vaccaro Week 1, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported. He was flagged for unnecessary roughness during the 43-13 loss, earning his team a 15-yard penalty and himself an ejection.

Robinson was falling onto his back and kicked his right foot right into Vaccaro's face mask. Shortly after the game, Robinson said on the matter. Via 92.3 The Fan:

“I hurt the team, honestly. And I feel like if I could have it back I would do things differently. But, it was basically just a reaction… I didn't even know he was falling… As I hit the ground I seen him, and my foot just made contact. I think it looks worse than it is… If I get fined, I get fined.”

Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot reported on Friday that Robinson will appeal the fine, and he “wasn’t fined for blindside block which he said was told shouldn’t have been called.” The blindside block was done in the opening drive for the Browns, as Robinson was penalized 15-yards for an illegal one.

It's unlikely Robinson wins his appeal, considering there is video evidence of his kick to Vaccaro's head.

Robinson wasn't the only Brown to spawn a fine from the NFL from their Week 1 performance. Defensive end Myles Garrett earned one of the same amount, defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson racked up one worth $21,056, and DT Devaroe Lawrence for $28,075, according to Cabot.

Their litter of fines was just a cap-off of an ugly start to the season. Cleveland can rebound on Monday night when they face a reeling New York Jets squad.
