The Cleveland Browns' 15-10 loss to their hated-rival Pittsburgh Steelers greatly stung — not just because they lost but how they lost.

Wide receiver Jarvis Landry, who dropped two passes and fumbled in Pittsburgh territory in the fourth quarter, killed Cleveland's chances of mounting a comeback. He didn't mince words in the postgame press conference, admitting to his blown opportunities. Per Dan Labbe of Cleveland.com:

“Just thinking about this game, I really just go back to two or three plays in this game, myself having an opportunity to make plays and just didn’t,” Landry said. “I owe it to my teammates, to all the guys that fought to get back to play, Baker, (wide receiver) Odell (Beckham Jr.), (right tackle) Jack (Conklin), that’s part of it, that’s part of holding up my end of the bargain and making those plays to make sure that we can win this game.”

Baker Mayfield opted not to throw Landry under the bus when asked about his mistakes. He told reporters that Landry is one of the team's biggest leaders and that the loss is on the whole team, not just Landry, who led the team in catches (five) and receiving yards (65). Mayfield completed 20 of his 31 pass attempts for 225 yards in Cleveland's losing effort.

The Browns are now 4-4 and in last place of the AFC North. After going 1-2 in three straight home games, they'll head back on the road to face the Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday. In a very competitive division, they can't afford to lose games against division rivals like they did today.
