Cleveland Browns wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry continue to make waves not for their play, but for their fashion choices. At halftime of Cleveland's tilt with the Denver Broncos, both of the receivers were told to change their cleats.

According to CBS Sports sideline reporter Jay Feely, both Beckham and Landry were told to switch their cleats. If not, the two would be sidelined for the rest of the game, or until they find new footwear.

Beckham had been wearing the Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 OBJ Uptempo Cleat with the joker painted on them. Landry donned a pair of gold and orange Nike cleats. Both players obliged to the request.

The NFL permits players to wear costume cleats during their week celebrating the “My Cause My Cleats” movement, which is made to help players bring awareness to charities they support. Otherwise, players are limited to sticking with the uniform policy, or else they will be fined or subject to being asked to take them off. Week 8 is not that week.

This isn't the first time that Beckham has been in the news for his fashion in-game. Earlier in the season, he paid fines for famously wearing a Richard Mille watch valued at $190,000. Despite the NFL telling him to stop doing so, Beckham has continued to wear watches at times throughout the season. He also had to momentarily leave a primetime game early in Week 2 due to his visor.

Beckham has paid fines for what he wears on Sunday. However, this Sunday, it was a bit more than a fine for him and the Browns.
