Could the Cleveland Browns trade Odell Beckham Jr. just over a year after acquiring him? It seems to be a real possibility.

Earlier this week, WFAN Sports Radio's Mark Malusis reported that the Browns had been discussing a trade that would send Beckham to the Minnesota Vikings for a couple of draft picks.

Now, Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report is reporting that Beckham could be on the move.

While Freeman says the chances of Beckham being specifically dealt to the Vikings seem unlikely due to Minnesota's cap constraints, sources have told him that they believe “it's only a matter of time before Beckham is traded from the Browns.”

The same sources state that they don't believe Cleveland's apparent desire to send Beckham packing is because of his attitude. But moreso because of his lack of chemistry with quarterback Baker Mayfield. Freeman adds that top receivers are seen as more disposable nowadays, so the Beckham trade rumors will likely persist.

For those who have been sleeping under a rock, Beckham has been linked to the Vikings in trade rumors all offseason.

“He’s not gonna make a big deal. He’ll deny it. He wants to get along with everybody. … Let’s just say this: OBJ will not go public, [but] he knows Minnesota is a good place. He knows it’s a good fit,” Cowherd shared.

The Browns initially acquired Beckham in a trade with the New York Giants last offseason, sending multiple draft picks—including a first-rounder—as well as young safety Jabrill Peppers to the Giants in return.

As a result of landing Beckham and numerous other key players last spring, Cleveland was viewed by many as a Super Bowl contender heading into 2019. Instead, the Browns floundered, going just 6-10 and missing the playoffs entirely.

Beckham played in every game this past season, marking just the second time he had achieved that feat in his NFL career. However, his production was not what most expected, as he caught 74 passes for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns.
