Week 14 proceedings will see an intriguing matchup between two AFC North division rivals in the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens. Apparently, the result of the highly-anticipated encounter will greatly depend on who will be able to take control of the momentum in the first quarter of the tilt between the two teams.

According to PennLive‘s Aaron Kasinitz, the Browns' defense has been stifling as they haven't allowed an opponent to score a single touchdown in the opening games of their ongoing four-game winning streak. Meanwhile, the Ravens have also found their luck as they are currently holding a 6-1 tally when they were able to put the ball in the endzone in the first quarter of their games.

The Browns are coming off a tough matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 13 action. After a dominating 38-7 start in the first half, the Titans managed to fight back with high-scoring outputs in the second half for a bid to diminish the Browns' lead.

Their comeback attempt ultimately went down the drain as time expired with the Browns escaping via a 41-35 final decision. The Browns continue on their upswing with a 9-3 record while the Titans dropped back to an 8-4 tally to still hold the top spot in the AFC South.

On the other hand, the Ravens were able to previously end a three-game losing skid with a lopsided win as they hosted the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. Lamar Jackson showcased his dual-threat playmaking skills as the Ravens led all throughout the game and never looked back to secure a 34-17 victory to progress towards a 7-5 win-loss record and third in the AFC North division.

With a playoff seat virtually at stake, both the Browns and the Ravens are looking to jump out of the gun and make their presence known in the opening frame to help better their chances of grabbing a much-needed victory in Week 14.
