Myles Garrett is putting in some work. The 24 year old is looking like he's in the best shape of his career as he is poised to rejoin the Cleveland Browns this coming season.
The controversial defensive end took to his IG stories IG stories to show the offseason lifting he has been doing:
Yup, that's Myles Garrett deadlifting 655 lbs.
The 2018 Pro Bowler is coming off an indefinite suspension from the league after an unfortunate incident in the dying seconds of their match-up against the Pittsburgh Steelers in November of last year. A scuffle between Garrett and Steelers QB Mason Rudolph ended ugly, as the Browns star grabbed Rudolph's helmet and hit him on the head with it. He was immediately suspended by the league and missed the remainder of the 2019 season.
Luckily, Garrett's suspension was lifted earlier this year and he has cleared to suit up again for the Browns for the up coming NFL Season.
It seems the incident last November is already beyond the young defensive stud, as he's slowly inching he's way back to superstar form. As per newly hired defensive coordinator Joe Woods, the Cleveland star is in “a good place” mentally and is showing signs of maturity and leadership as they get acquainted this offseason. The Browns star's physical state seems to be doing quite well, too based on his lifting ability shown on his IG.
Spring training has been a little challenging for the entire league as the whole world is forced to stay indoors and isolate due to the coronavirus pandemic but clearly, the Browns are doing what they can given the situation.
