It certainly looks like Antonio Brown is not one bit bothered by the controversy he created when he walked out of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers mid-game against the New York Jets.
After he channeled his inner Kodak Black on Twitter, the veteran wideout also posted on Instagram to seemingly response to his critics and haters. Brown has long been criticized for his on and off-field antics–further highlighted by his recent fake COVID-19 vaccine card debacle with the Buccaneers–but he emphasized that what he does on football certainly doesn't reflect who he is as a person.
“Football is what we do, not who we are! Love,” Brown wrote along with a heart emoji.
What does Antonio Brown want to say here? Is he perhaps he's referring to his shocking walkout in Week 17, hinting for people not to judge him since they do not know the full story of what happened?
Brown certainly remains one of the most polarizing players in the NFL, and after he quit on the Buccaneers, it is unknown what the future holds for him. Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians revealed that AB is no longer a Buc following their comeback victory against the Jets, and it seems the wide receiver himself is saying goodbye to the team.
In another IG post, AB said he is “Big MAD”–which stands for “Making A Difference.” He added “thank you for the opportunity,” which is likely his message to the Buccaneers.
