The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are banged up heading into their NFL playoff matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Tampa Bay offense has been hit particularly hard, as running backs Leonard Fournette and Ronald Jones, wide receiver Breshad Perriman, and two key offensive linemen have all popped up on the injury report, among others. On Friday, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians spoke to reporters and offered a mixed bag of updates on Fournette, Jones and Perriman, via Greg Auman of The Athletic.
Arians said Leonard Fournette has looked good in practice and hasn’t had any setbacks in his return from a hamstring injury.

That’s a promising Leonard Fournette update ahead of the Buccaneers-Rams game. Bruce Arians said that Fournette, who missed the Wild Card round win over the Philadelphia Eagles, has notably been able to practice without setback.
Fournette is still on IR, though this update certainly bodes well for his chances of suiting up for the Buccaneers-Rams clash. Arians then provided updates on Ronald Jones and Breshad Perriman.
Arians said Perriman has “a torn muscle in his side,” and he and Jones were the only two players who didn’t practice today. We’ll wait for final injury report but both sound like they’ll be ruled out for Sunday.

Perriman, who was signed in November, has a torn muscle in his side, per Arians. Meanwhile, backup running back Ronald Jones is dealing with a nagging ankle injury. With idle practice sessions this late in the week, it seems like both are trending to miss the Buccaneers-Rams clash.
Fans will get a better idea of the statuses of Leonard Fournette, Ronald Jones and Breshad Perriman for the Buccaneers-Rams game when Tampa Bay releases their final injury report with designations later on Friday. However, head coach Bruce Arians provided some key clues here with his updates.
