The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be shorthanded for their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Chicago Bears, as Chris Godwin, LeSean McCoy and Justin Watson won't play, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Both the Bears and Buccaneers are 3-1 on the young season. Tampa Bay is coming off an impressive comeback win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4, while Chicago lost to the Indianapolis Colts at home for its first defeat of the season.

After losing to the New Orleans Saints in Week 1, the Buccaneers have won three straight games behind Tom Brady, who threw five touchdowns in Week 4 against the Chargers. The future Hall of Famer has been on fire in his first season in Tampa Bay after struggling versus the Saints to open the 2020 season.

Brady, 43, has thrown for 1,122 yards through the Buccaneers' first four games. He has 11 touchdowns and is completing 65.2 percent of his passes. Brady continues to show he's one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL despite being the oldest player in the league.

While the Bears have a good defense led by Khalil Mack, Chicago's offense has been up-and-down. Head coach Matt Nagy benched Mitchell Trubisky in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons for Nick Foles, who led the team to a comeback win.

However, Foles was awful in Week 4 against the Colts, so the Buccaneers' defense should be licking their chops as they make their way into Chicago.
