Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston is still recovering from the fractured hand he sustained during his team's 45-33 triumph over the Indianapolis Colts. However, that didn't stop him from getting together with the community's kids as he showed up with a cast on his right hand.

The Famous Jameis Jamboree, a get-together established by the Jameis Winston Dream Forever Foundation, saw around 2,500 kids from the Tampa Bay area sign up. It would have been enough for his foundation to organize the event, but the injured pass-caller made the jamboree even more special by making an appearance.

Tampa Bay Times' Eduardo Encincas showcased the 25-year-old quarterback having fun with the kids during one of the games. It was clear in the video that he had a cast on his right hand to protect the fracture on his right thumb from getting worse.

He addressed the cast and put doubts to rest.

“I know y’all see my hand,” Winston said, per Tampa Bay Times' Rick Stroud. “I’m going to talk about my hand on (Wednesday). It’s a preventative thing right now.”

It would have been better for Winston, who has notched 4,115 passing yards and 26 touchdowns over 13 games, to just rest his hand and not go to the event. However, he felt that it was his duty to show up and make the kids who showed up to his event feel happy.

“It humbles me because it makes me think of how grateful I am to have this opportunity, to be amongst all these fans, all these kids in the background,” Winston said. “They’re just happy. You can give however much money you want to an organization. You can do that. But time, time is the most valuable thing that we have.”

It's unknown if he'll be able to play against the Detroit Lions, but he's surely aiming to play all of the games he can this season.
