Literally everyone on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is excited about the prospect of Bruce Arians serving as head coach, and that now includes Mike Evans.

Evans, who is currently a Pro Bowler, has joined the chorus echoing the benefits that Arians will provide the team.

“They've got a good track record. I've heard a lot of great things about Bruce. I'm just looking forward to it. This is going to be my third coach going on my sixth year, so it's my job to be a professional and play ball, and that's what I'm going to do.”

Bruce Arians was officially named the head coach of the Bucs on January 8, and was formally presented as the head coach of the team at a press conference two days later.

But while Mike Evans is pleased, and impressed, with Arians, he also recognizes that the players have to do their part if they want to be successful next year.

“The coaches are going to coach but it all comes down to the players. The players are out there playing and the players are the ones that are going to make the plays, so it's on the players. We've got to be more disciplined, clean up the penalties and keep making plays like we've been [doing].”

While Bruce Arians is currently preparing for his first season with the Bucs, Evans is playing his second Pro Bowl in just as many years. The seventh overall draft pick first came to the team back in 2014.
