With less than a week until free agency kicks off, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have emerged as a dark-horse candidate to land Tom Brady. Ahead of Brady's much-anticipated decision, Peter Schrager of NFL Network talked about the chances of Brady signing with Tampa Bay.

The Buccaneers could be an appealing option for Brady in a multitude of ways. For starters, the six-time Super Bowl champion would have wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin to throw to. Not to mention that O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate are also capable pass-catchers in the offense.

Also, Brady would get the opportunity to play for Bruce Arians, one of the most aggressive coaches in the NFL. Last but not least, by playing in Florida, Brady, and his potential huge contract, would not be subject to income taxes.

All of those could be things that lead to the Buccaneers being an intriguing fit for Brady. But as Schrager alluded to, it's tough to believe that Brady would see Tampa Bay as the best option available to him.

With Brady turning 43 years old later this year, his main focus is on playing for a team that gives him the best chance to win another Super Bowl. At this moment, returning to the New England Patriots would give him a better chance of winning his seventh Super Bowl ring.

Besides the Patriots, the Tennessee Titans could also be a team that Brady views as a better team than the Buccaneers. Without a doubt, Tampa Bay should be interested in making a push to sign Brady this offseason. On the other hand, it's highly unlikely that Brady chooses the Buccaneers over some of his other options.
