The Tampa Bay Buccaneers received a massive boost after Tom Brady decided to unretire. Now, the franchise is hopeful for Rob Gronkowski to return. If he does, Tampa Bay would have a stacked offense once again as they make another push for a Super Bowl ring.
According to Cameron Wolfe, Rob Gronkowski is “truly undecided” on returning to Tampa Bay or not. On one hand, he could return to the Buccaneers and play with Tom Brady. On the other, he could opt to retire young and enjoy the rest of his days. Hopefully, he provides an answer soon, as the offense has a big hole at tight end.
Drew Rosenhaus said he spoke with Tampa Bay Bucs yesterday about his client TE Rob Gronkowski. He said he told them Gronk is “truly undecided” about playing in 2022. Gronk has hinted this offseason about likely returning to TB but wants to take his time. Bucs want him back.

We'll see how it plays out for the Buccaneers. If Gronkowski decides to return, then this offense will be rolling on all cylinders. Additionally, the superstar tight end has mentioned before he'd only ever play with Tom Brady, so there is reason to believe a return is inevitable. If not, then we should see Tampa Bay select a tight end in the upcoming NFL Draft.
With OJ Howard gone and Rob Gronkowski on the fence, the Buccaneers have a massive need to fill. There aren't many exciting names left in free agency, which means the front office will likely prioritize drafting someone with or without Gronkowski on the roster. Regardless, Tom Brady is probably in Gronk's ear trying to persuade the legendary tight end to return.
Look for Rob Gronkowski to make his decision soon, as the NFL Draft is quickly approaching.
