Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Scotty Miller is prodding Kansas City Chiefs star Tyreek Hill, aka “The Cheetah.”

Miller told Dan Patrick he thinks he can beat Hill in a one-on-one sprint ahead of the Super Bowl showdown between the two teams.

The 23-year-old Buccaneers wide receiver acknowledged Hill is one of the fastest players in football. But Miller does not think Hill can beat him in a head-up sprint:

“Tyreek is unbelievable, super quick, unbelievable talent,” Miller told Patrick, via TMZ. “But, if we're talking about a race, I've got all of the confidence in myself going up against anybody.”

It appears the trash talk has already begun between the Buccaneers and Chiefs. Does Miller really want to provoke Hill?

Tyreek is having an enormous postseason. Hill had eight receptions for 110 yards in a Divisional Playoff win over the Cleveland Browns, then ripped the Buffalo Bills for nine catches and 172 yards in the AFC Championship Game.

Of course, Miller himself has made some explosive plays during these playoffs. The diminutive Miller — who averaged 15.2 yards per reception during the regular season — has been one of Tom Brady's favorite deep threats. His 39-yard touchdown catch at the end of the first half of Sunday's NFC Championship gave the Buccaneers a 21-10 lead heading into the locker room, and it afforded Tampa Bay some breathing room against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

There is no question both Hill and Miller will be looking to make plays down the field in the Super Bowl. Perhaps one of the two receivers will even make the singular play that turns the tide.

Regardless of the outcome between the Buccaneers and Chiefs, however, Miller still feels he can take Hill in a sprint. It sure would be a spectacle to see the two speedsters go head-to-head.
